Director of Sales - Team Lead will have direct responsibility for managing existing business as well as developing and executing Fiskars strategies for expansion of the business with the craft/education/office space.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage all areas of business responsibilities including: sales, customer profit, forecasting, internal and external communication, reporting, administrative and customer service. Monitor sales and analyze performance trends to identify issues and opportunities. Plan and execute customer focused sales functions, sales presentations and business reviews.
  • Understand and evaluate Fiskars category segments and potential expansion. Penetrate and maintain an active relationship and dialogue with the customer(s) at all levels of the organization. Direct the collaborative planning process to improve customer planning and alignment.

  • Drive development of daily, weekly and monthly analytics to support business; manage a team of direct reports including four sales team members; run the day to day details.


Ideal Qualifications:

  • BA or BS degree preferred.

  • 10 years sales and key account experience in CPG (Consumer Product Goods) with a strong track record of success.

  • 3 years experience leading established accounts and managing multiple direct reports.
  • Strong leader with excellent communication, influencing, negotiation, and analytical skills. Exhibit ability to develop high quality relationships based on trust and integrity with internal teams and the appropriate customer contacts to drive growth.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to adapt to quickly changing business environment and varying priorities. Must be able to coordinate and prioritize high work volume and pressing time requirements.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
  • Must be able to travel for market activities, sales meetings, corporate planning and strategy meetings.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills required.
