This position is responsible for generating profitable business in assigned accounts, territories and channels by developing and implementing a comprehensive sales plan that includes new and existing sales strategies and tactics. Directly responsible for expand new relationships and cultivating existing account relationships by:

  • Learning detailed information about the customer (including strategic challenges and priorities);
  • Identifying key decision makers;
  • Prioritizing opportunities critical to the customer/account;
  • Ensuring professional sales coordination and planning (including forecast/report sales accuracy)

Major Responsibilities:

  • Establish new industrial regional customers and generate profitable growth with these customers through our field rep agencies. Ensure that new products and programs are presented through these customers personally or through our rep agencies
  • Build existing account relationships with industrial customers to generate additional growth in the channel. Understands customers' challenges, priorities and needs. Knows detailed information about the account and who the key decision makers are and what it takes to close the sale
  • Sales show coordination & representation to develop awareness/sales opportunities in the industrial channel
  • Provide appropriate sales planning and coordination by working with Fiskars marketing & new product development departments to support year-over-year growth
  • Train our field sales reps to ensure that they can represent Fiskars and become a valuable extension of the Fiskars sales team. Training will entail product knowledge, marketing programs and promotions, and new product launch support


  • Bachelors Degree
  • 3-5 years of sales experience in industrial channel desired
  • Personable, analytical, detail orientated, strong organizational skills, knowledge of merchandising and retail
  • Ability to establish key contacts/relationships in all aspects of the business; Must be able to sell!
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite of product including Excel, Powerpoint
  • Must be willing to travel 60% of the time
