The Associate Channel Manager will support the development of marketing promotions and programs at retail. Act as a project manager to ensure that key marketing initiatives are completed on time and on target to meet organizational sales and profit objectives. Support the commercialization of products and needed tools for the sales team to maximize market potential. Other duties include assisting with customer line reviews, gathering of market data and item set up, as needed.

Primary duties & responsibilities:

  • Provide organizational support to channel teammates. This includes P&L inputs, Agile system data entry, RFQ form completion, tactical creative brief development, overall item management and tracker updates.
  • Act as a project manager, primarily in developing off-shelf promotions and signage for key customers to help drive profitable incremental sales. Coordinate efforts between sales, marketing, creative, packaging, operations, purchasing, and finance. Provide overall project management department support tracking project milestones and ensuring deadlines are met as well as documenting status.
  • Learn the retail environment online and at shelf, assisting in the development of merchandising solutions including Point of Purchase (POP) materials to increase brand presence and improve the shopper journey.
  • Assist sales with the development of strategic plan account presentations for key customers and ensure the sales team has the content and materials they need including images, renderings and samples.
  • Support new product launch marketing plans. Assist in the development of sales and marketing materials related to new product launches.
  • Back up channel coordinator and temp, providing support as needed to meet deadlines.


  • Bachelor of Arts in marketing, business or related field of study
  • 1-3 years' experience in sales or marketing
  • Strong communication and follow-up.
  • Organizational skills: project management; project & data tracking.
  • Work approach: collaborative, attention to detail, understanding of product and promotion development process, and an understanding of the retail environment.
