The IT ERP Project Manager strives to support and improve JD Edwards, Manhattan PkMS, Agile and other related ERP applications according to business tactical and strategic needs. This person works closely with business areas to identify, analyze, and develop requirements for ERP applications, translating business needs into IT specifications. S/he, working with technical resources, proposes a solution that matches both business and IT objectives. This position serves as one of facilitation and management, communicating with internal and external technical resources to ensure timely delivery of the final solution that matches the proposed concept.

Primary duties & responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage business requests, from small enhancements to large projects, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and according to scope
  • Work with stakeholders to define and prioritize business and systems requests for new technology implementations and improvements
  • Analyze requirements and create high-level implementation plans, providing solutions to technical resources for execution
  • Ability to conduct and direct research into IT issues as required, ensuring technical teams resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Manage projects through IT department methodology, using appropriate milestone documentation and progressing through established processes for approval

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor's Degree in the area of Computer Science, Business, or Communications or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a project manager
  • Minimum of 3 years of IT experience, preferably as an IT project manager or business analyst
  • Good overall knowledge of ERP area, including systems related to the following business processes: Order to Cash, Supply Chain, Warehouse & Fulfillment, Finance, and MDM. These systems include JD Edwards, Manhattan PkMS, Agile
  • Organized and efficient planning
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
