The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that marketing projects, from concept development through initial production are successfully completed.  This is a critical organizational role within the Marketing organization and is the driver of three critical areas:  project planning, project management and process improvement.  The role also supports the development, maintenance and ongoing improvement of an efficient and effective project development processes - encompassing packaging, signage, off-shelf promotions, event materials, catalogs, advertising and digital.+

Primary responsibilities & duties:

  • Responsible for the overall project planning of the marketing organization with a focus on channel marketing-led projects.
  • Develop the overall view of project requests, timelines, and resource requirements. Establish and manage a master project system to assist in project prioritization and resource planning. Create project charters, work plans, schedules, issue logs and risk management plans.
  • Coordinate with multiple departments to monitor and report on project status, ensuring all aspects of each project are tracked through completion.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of Agile item set-up activities. Manage Agile tasks and associated timelines with marketing milestones (RFQs, FGs, BOM setup, cost impact forms, change orders, PIRs, ATV, specs).
  • Support NPD/NPL/Execution project managers in order to ensure creative project deliverables are incorporated into the project planning and creative needs are met.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and places for improvement. Develop, document and implement new processes (or enhance existing processes) that will improve project planning and outcomes.

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • BA/BS in Business, Marketing or related fields.
  • 5-7 years related professional work experience in an environment where project management, marketing, and analytical skills were cultivated.
  • 3 to 5 years professional work experience on large scale, multi-faceted creative or digital projects.
  • Thorough understanding of project management phases and techniques.
  • Proven ability to multi-task, collaborate cross-functionally, perform in a fast-pace environment.
